Best film in my book

Kar Wai Wong, In the Mood for Love
What moves me even more than the music is watching the characters make moral choices in an extremely immoral world. A profound film.

Wong Ka Wai films are excellent. He always seems to be able to see things in an unusual and refreshing way.

Pinnochio,

I think I liked the sequel better. 2047, it is simply superb.

Where are you now? I was in China when I wrote that post.

2046 was more like magical realism
